Collins, Printers, 1840. Small (apx 3 1/2 x 6") leatherbound book, boards dry and bowed, all pages intact though worn. Former owner stamp of Henry Heliker Otego, New York, plus a pencil inscription in his hand stating the book was bought ("bot") April 25, 1841. 334pp, rough with a rather stiff block but intact & in fact readable. Book authorship credited to Jerome Van Crowninshield Smith (1800-1879). This volume was produced during Jackson's lifetime.
