General locomotive plastic kit Museum quality display kit manufactured by Fundimentions MPC in 1980.1/25 scale plastic model kit.This is a large model, over 25 inches long, with 330 detailed parts. It was a Christmas gift from my dad that I never opened or assembled and is still in its original shrink wrapping.There are a few small spots where the shrink wrap is torn exposing the cardboard box. The box is near perfect, with just a small scuff on the bottom which is white cardboard.The parts have never seen day light and are still inside with the instructions. Never opened. Note: This is not a powered model. I have kept this for 31 years, tempted to build it many times, and say "Dad I finally built that general model".But now I have decided to sell it. I have seen this sell for as much as $75, I started the auction at $45 to make at least a dollar for every year I kept it.
