This old sign is just out of storage after many, many years. 30" sign, double-sided "General Petroleum Corporation Gasoline and Lubricants". Other then some porcelain missing from around the mountng holes, the porcelain is in very good condition. I tried to take some cross-section shots of the sign to show-off the VERY nice gloss and great shelving. T are some areas of white "hazing" on one side of the sign, which can barely be seen in photographs. I think it will clean off, but I was afraid of scratching it and all I did was hose it off and wash it with soap and water. I was considering a little steel wool, but I'll leave that up to the next owner. This is a tough sign to come by, and even more so in this type of condition. Sign will be well-packaged and fully insured. Take advantage!
*** A few people have asked about whether or not t has been any touch-up to this sign. T is absolutely NO touch-up anyw on the sign. It is completely original and the only porcelain loss is around a few of the mounting holes. ***
