This one ounce pure silver round features the US Civil War Confederate General Robert E. Lee on the obverse and the seal of the Confederate States of America on the reverse. This silver round has a proof-like mirror background. The official seal has George Washington riding a horse in the middle and the words "The Confederate States of America 22 February 1862" and in latin,"Deo Vindice", which means God avenges. The portrait of General Robert E. Lee has his name on the top as well as the year of his birth and death, 1807 and 1870. This silver round has more detail than is captured in the photos.
