Available for your collection is a "never been used" advertising egg carrier. I found this great piece at a "Country Store" auction in Fremont, Indiana back in the 1970's.

This great piece of Americana is named "The Suprise" egg carrier, made by the "Eclipse Manfg. Co. Sterling Ill. sole manf'rs of the Down Pat egg carrier." This piece still bares the original shipping tag from the "Squires Hdwr. Co. Mt. Carroll Ill."

The top of the carrier states..."When I am full take me to W.H. Wildey Mt. Carroll Ill." Size of the carrier is 10.5" tall X 18" wide X 9" deep.

The carrier is painted black with silver/gold graphics. The stenciling is done in the "Wagon Works" style of folk art lettering.

This carrier has never been used...it does lack the cardboard inserts.

If you are looking for one of the very best in an American Folk Art Egg Carrier...this is it.

Thanks for looking and have a Great Day !!!
