Hi and thanks for looking! Up for sale is a Genesis catamaran build I did this summer. It has roughly 10 uses on it. I have lost interest in boats for the time being and would prefer not to start a collection. I have outfitted this with a offshore custom wound Leopard 2200kv 40x82mm inrunner which puts out roughly 3800watts (a shade under 5hp) on 6s and a hobbywing 180amp esc (turnigy branded). This boat is setup to run 6s and I will INCLUDE a pair of nano tech 5000mah 25-50c Lipos which are lightly used.. one of them has had the casing torn somewhat but it did not penetrate to the cell and the battery is functioning fine. I have used it several times to ensure that it has not been damaged internally. Also included will be the original motor box which has the manual inside. No wiring harness is necessary as I believe they bring about needless extra resistance- just simply join the batteries together in series and hook directly to esc. I have always done it this way with my boats and have always had better luck and cooler connectors while using high amperage (100amp+) systems. The screw is an offshore CNC'd magnalium 44mm 1.4p prop. If you have no experience with this material, I have to tell you it's the best.. Not only will you never have to balance to sharpen these props (..they are manufactured perfect) but the weight is negligible. . they are unbelievably light and strong. Expensive but well worth it. This prop has never been nicked or grounded or hit on anything. This boat is VERY FAST as I'm sure you can imagine.. So fast in fact I have never really ran full throttle as the waters around here in the summer are so warm that I don't believe they cool adequately the electronics. I am unsure of the exact top speed but I would estimate more than 65 on glass with the correct setup.. quite probably more than that. I would encourage whoever buys this to install another cooling line to cool esc and motor individually. This was a mod I had intended on doing but never got around to. I also had intended on making the driveline 3/16 as opposed to 4mm but I never got around to that either.. Mainly because I never had any issues with my Spartan which had a 4mm driveline and I was able to go well over 60 with that boat.. So far I have had no issues with this drive line either. I will include two brand new flex cables with this boat as well. The flex line and prop shaft in the genesis are two separate pieces and the flex cable inserts to prop shaft via squared male-female notch. The boat is in near mint condition.. There are a couple spots around the hatch where the tape I used pulled up a few spots of paint upon removal. I have done my best to show this. On the bottom and near the prow on one of the tips there are some factory lines/ imperfections in the paint. These are not stress damage to the fiberglass.. I have exerted considerable force on these areas and there is no give in the hull whatsoever. I had intentions of doing a custom paint job but again, I lost some interest. NO RX OR TX INCLUDED!! Everything else is there, just charge the batteries and plug in your own radio and you will be good to go. I have a high end radio system I could include theoretically so if you are interested, message me and I could give you the details but I would prefer to hang onto the that. The pictured stand is also not included simply because the increase in package size and shipping wouldn't be worth the couple bucks in PVC it costs to build one yourself. Due to the nature of hobbies, no returns! Sold as is! So.... please review this description and the pictures carefully! Message me for any additional info or pictures BEFORE you bid!
