Gen'l Store Black Powder / Gunpowder Measure Dispenser

Hubby says the old gunsmith he got this from 30 years ago told him it is a Black Powder (gun powder) measure and dispenser for an old time General Store or Armory. It is tin, 13 inches tall with a 3 inch cup that is the measure and the cap. The seams are lapped. It looks like the bottom was one piece, the main body was one piece, the sloped shoulder was one piece and the neck was one piece and they were joined. The handle and bail were added. T are no markings on this to identify either the maker or the amount of powder it held. I haven't made any attempt to clean it, I'll let whoever purchases it do that. It would certainly make a nice addition to a General Store display, a reenactment setting or a muzzleloader's collection. I will package this carefully & ship via USPS Priority. I am glad to combine items to save on shipping costs.
