Gentex Flight Helmet Overall condition is very good to excellent. Only condition fault is the forehead pad leather which has separated from the forehead pad due to degradation of the pad foam. I have not attempted to and will not attempt to "fix" that. All other padding is excellent. Visor works and locks smoothly. Sunshade is in excellent condition. Chinstrap works properly. No rust, no damage. Oxygen mask fixtures have small paint chips and appear to be in working order, but I've never had a mask to go with this item. Earphone pads are soft and flexible. Boom mic and cord are in excellent condition. I do not have the capacity to check the functionality of the electronics. Helmet is white and completely covered with reflective white tape. The black square on the front and rectangle on the back are velcro for removeable patches. Inside is lined with styrofoam. Handwritten on the styrofoam is:WHITE 5756 Probably crewman's name and last four(SSN). Tag at rear reads: HELMET SHELL ASSEMBLAGE PRK-37/P MIL-H-85047 SIZE-MED CONTRACT NO. N00383-83-C-1106R P/N 954AS300-1 Paper stick-on tag inside shell reads:90 Day Due 22 APR 96.
