is a 18th century / Napoleonic wars period cannon water bucket used to cool down the barrel once it had fired ready to fire the next round. It has all its iron straps and has a few very old wood worm holes. This naval cannon water bucket originally was saved from a shipyard which was being developed in Portsmouth. Measuring 20cm high and 24cm wide. I have included a photo of one of the levels inside HMS Victory which shows similar iron bound buckets and powder barrels. Postage to U.K. residents $20.
