Genuine 1982 British Military Precista quartz watch This Genuine and very rare 1982 British Military Precista quartz watch is running but needs attention. Precista [Southerns ] held the MOD contract for only a few years before CWC replaced them. All the early quartz watches were very thick cased [11mm ] with large battery access screwed panels. The case of this watch is sound with a few marks. Its original dial is in good condition with the second and minute hands also being good. A small amount of luminous is missing from the hour hand. The stop/reset button works correctly. A new battery has been fitted and the watch runs but is loosing time. As you can see a new glass will be required. Rear case markings are as follows W10/6645-99- Crows foot [ Broad arrow ] 12338/82 These markings indicate that it was issued to the British Army [ W10 ] in 1982 [ 12238/82 ] I will mail this watch to most countries. Overseas buyers please note that this will only be done by signed for and insured mail at expense to the buyer.
