St Catherine of Siena Single Decade Rosary Chaplet St Catherine of Siena was a Dominican nun and mystic. She experienced a vision in which she was spiritually married to Christ, and received a wedding ring from his hand. She was a prolific writer and was a counselor to two popes. She died in 1380, and was proclaimed a Doctor of the Church in 1970. She is the patron of Nurses, Firefighters, Nursing services, and sick people and is invoked for protection against fire, sickness, sexual temptations and miscarriage. This chaplet has a nickle silver medal (made in Italy) which has a beautifully detailed image of St Catherine of Siena. The 1-1/4" gold-toned Loreto crucifix has a beautiful cutout design and bright finish. The single Our Father bead is a genuine pale pink Rose Quartz with gold-plate filigree caps. The ten Hail Mary beads are all genuine Amethyst gemstone beads in various shades of purple and are simply exquisite!
