GENUINE CHINESE IVORY PUZZLE BALL NECKLACE

This is a genuine ivory puzzle ball necklace. It has all the characteristics of ivory. It measures 17 3/4" long. The center ball is about 3/4" in diameter. Because of the small size, it is difficult to be sure how many balls it has. I can definitely see three. T may be another. The next size balls are 5/8" (t are two), then two at 1/2", two at 3/8" and two at 1/4". All these balls appear to have one inner ball. Then t are 10 carved balls in graduating sizes. The rest of the necklace are normal beads. The catch is an ivory screw type. The balls are beautifully carved, as one would expect with this type of artistry. These balls are very difficult to make in this very small size. I am not sure of the age. However, they came from a fine estate and should have some age. This is a great item for collectors of Chinese art and/or ivory. Geuine puzzle ball necklaces do not show up that often.
