Fender Classic Player '50s Stratocaster Strat Neck Over the last few years I've gone a bit crazy buying Strat and Tele parts to put together some "Frankenstein" guitars, but I've realised I'm never going to get round to using them so a few are now up for sale as I gradually reduce the hoard. This neck is from a 2006 Fender Classic Player '50s Stratocaster. I bought the neck as a separate item, but the full specs for this guitar model are here on Fender's website: /en-GB/guitars/stratocaster/classic-player-50s-stratocaster-maple-fingerboard-black/ Like most Fender Classic Players, this neck is based on vintage specifications but with a few modern player-friendly updates: one-piece maple with a walnut skunk stripe, flatter 9.5" fingerboard radius, 21 medium jumbo frets, black dot inlays and traditional truss rod adjustment at the body end. It's finished in high gloss urethane, with a vintage tint. It's described as a "Soft V" shape, which seems about right to me; it's a little deeper than a "C" shape at the first fret but not a chunky shape overall. This particular neck has some very beautiful flame in the maple, which makes me quite reluctant to sell it! The headstock is drilled to fit vintage Kluson style tuners. You could easily modify it for modern cast/sealed tuners but they might not hide the existing screw holes. The neck read more
