Genuine full sized silver General Service Medal 1962 Clasp - NORTHERN IRELAND. Awarded to Corporal Ian Burns, who served with the Royal Military Police in Northern Ireland. Name engraved along edge is : 23939060 CPL I.D. BURNS RMP. Excellent condition, never been worn, it comes in the original MOD box, was issued to the NCO in question having served in Northern Ireland at the begining of the troubles back in 1962. GSM's are not rare, this one is highly collectable , due to it's age. it is unmarked in perfect condition, needs cleaning (I rubbed it with a bit of brasso wool before taking photo's) Cpl.Burns also known as "Mouse" was stationed at Hastings St Police Station, along with civillian police.
