You are bidding on a genuine GREAT WHITE SHARK jaw . I don't need to do a lot of talking about GW jaws. You all know how rare they are. Now let's talk about THIS JAW. It came from an around 700 pounds female shark caught by Japanese fishing boat several years ago, location unknown, but possibly at North Western Pacific. Sometimes I don't understand how some sellers get all the data of the sharks their jaws came from. It sounds a bit ridiculous to me that fishermen have to record down the data (the length, weight and sex) of every blue shark, bull shark, mako shark or whatever common shark they caught? Just doesn't make sense to me. (Let along some of those data are totally weird....10 feet long 230lbs mako shark? GIVE ME A BREAK what an out of shape eel-like mako shark!) But when it comes to white sharks, it's another story....why? Because they are white sharks and just draw attentions. Now let's talk about the dimensions of this jaw. It's set in a great attacking shape and at a decent size 18 inches wide and 13 1/2 inches high , good enough for you to hang on the wall to proud to your collector friends and not a $10000 bank breaker at the same time. The largest upper tooth on this jaw measures right at 1 1/2", and is considered relatively VERY LARGE for jaws at similar size. It has been slightly repaired but nothing substantial. Just an awesome set that you can ever imagine. And some of you may notice that I have a bigger GW jaw in my eBay store . If you want something bigger, please go for it. But as I said big GWs are not for every collector...for those who just want a piece of these magnificent animals, I will put some GW teeth for sale, big or small, store or auction. Please expect. I ship WORLDWIDE! But on this jaw, if you live in South Africa or Australia, sorry please don't bid. I CANNOT ship it to these countries. For bidders from Spain and Italy, please leave positive feedback before item shipped. Because of the value that this jaw may attain, insurance is recommended, but it will be on buyer's cost. Also, a couple teeth (maybe 2 or 3) seem to be removed and replaced by the second row teeth. I didn't do anything on it myself, so I just check and tell you what I think. 2. Do you have a buy it now price? What's your reserve on this jaw? Ans: I dicided to let this jaw go on auction and let the bidders to have fun while bidding, so I chose not to set a BIN price...But who knows? Maybe some of you offer me a great price so great that I can't reject and I'll set a buy it now for you?
