This piece is another from a Large lot of lovely Vintage Ivory Carvings we are currently listing on eBay. We recently acquired this stunning collectible from a very old North East Estate. This auction is for a lovely vintage Guaranteed Ivory hand carved Smooth Design Bangle XXL Bracelet or Upper Arm Band - A VERY UNUSUAL FIND, even large enough for a man's wrist! It has a beautifully crafted design; with a thick cut and a softly polished surface - the close up pictures clearly show its beauty; a true work of art! The bracelet has been carved from a single Solid & Heavy ring of Genuine Ivory weighing a HEAVY 66 Grams - WOW! This Ivory jewelry art piece was probably made around the turn of the century, c.1890 to 1900! It measures a VERY LARGE 4" by 3 ¾" across the outside oval-diameter, about 13/16" wide, 3/8" thick and a whopping 9 7/8" interior circumference ( about 3 3/8" in diameter across the longest inside opening - great for even the largest female hands, guys hands and perfect for an upper arm band - so chic! ). We Guarantee that this is Real genuine Antique Elephant Ivory; it has lovely and VERY easily seen crosshatching, striations, and marbling. This high quality piece of art is in excellent condition and has no damage or repairs; t is a very small natural inclusion on one side, close-up picture available upon request.
