You are bidding on a RARE and GENUINE Cuban CASINO CHIP, probably from the mid of the 1940s -period. Up for auction is this VINTAGE and AUTHENTIC green colour CASINO CHIP with a denomination of 10 US$, most LIKELY issued from the well-known CASINO NACIONAL in Havana, due to the ESTRELLA (Star) design. This VINTAGE and GENUINE Cuban CASINO CHIP is in GOOD condition - minor wear. Please see scan for quality aspects or ask questions prior to bidding.Background: The HOTEL NACIONAL, completed in 1930 with its exquisite location at the Oceanside Avenue 'El Malecon', remains one of Havana's grandest emblems of its glamourous past. The Hotel Nacional was built with mob money and the former head quarter of Meyer Lansky when he ruled the Cuban mafia businesses in the 1950s until Castro made him abandon the island in December 1958.
