The main body of the canteen is made of noise retardant (you can't hear it slosh like a metal canteen) plastic. it also comes with an N.B.C. (nuclear, biological, chemical) cap whether you need it or not. The unit also comes with an aluminum cup and an insulated cover that attaches to your belt with two ALICE clips (also included). The cover also has a storage pouch for water purification tablets. The canteen is guaranteed leak proof when you get it, and will stay that way unless you put a hole in it!
