BEAUTIFUL 36" STRAND OF CULTURED PEARLS BEAUTIFUL STRAND OF CULTURED PEARLS For your consideration is this LOVELY vintage estate strand of pearls with solid 14K clasp. A glamorously long true classic, this lovely opera length pearl necklace measures a wonderful 36" long ! and is in excellent , ready-to-be-worn condition. There are 145 (!) pearls on the strand. The pearls are VERY round and seem virtually flawless. They have a beautiful warm glow that is unbelievable. I hope you can see this in the photos. This necklace has such a versatile length. It is long enough that you can actually double the strand if you'd like. You don't see as many of these long pearl necklaces lately. In fact, I could not find ANY salt water pearls of this length when searching the internet. I believe it is probably cost prohibitive to make them this length anymore. I truly think this necklace would sell for over $1000 in a retail setting. (Necklace in this listing is in the opera length category) I believe this to be a salt water pearl necklace ( pearls are very round and well matched). I do not know how to measure pearl diameter, so I have included a picture of a portion of the strand next to a ruler. There are roughly 4 pearls to an inch.
