#2050D BED, FULL SIZE PRESENTING A Genuine Vintage Cushman Colonial Creation #2050D Full Size Bed. I have several matching pieces, Dresser, Vanity & Wall Mirror currently available on seperate auctions. Made in North Bennington, Vermont, circa 1930s-50. Cushman Colonial furniture is superbly made with Solid Vermont Rock Maple & Birch. It is very durable & now highly collectible. This fine Cushman Bed features its original, famous Russet Finish, Capturing the warmth & glow of softly filtered sunlight in its velvety, mellow maple tones. It is heavy & substantial, with the classic Cushman Colonial softened edges & distressing. Wonderful, sculpted turned Rustic legs & finials frame the wide plank Head & Footboard panels. Usual wear in the finish from use & age, overall presents quite nicely as you can see & has developed a quite pleasing patina of age. The original bedrails are easily removed for transport & have solid angle iron boxspring supports. Repairs were made to the end of rail, hard too see, mentioned for clarity. Accepts your standard Full Size mattress/boxspring. It is Super Sturdy & Measures approximately 59 inches wide & 80.5 inches long. Headboard is approximately 40 inches high, Footboard is 28 inches high. Has the original Cushman Colonial Creation metal makers tag on back & Cushman model & stamped on bottom.
