This genuine antique panda bear stands 320mm (12.5'') high and weighs 310 grams. His head and body are stuffed with what feels like straw and his arms and legs have a softer feel to them, his belly also feels as though it has a " growler " inside which no longer operates. It has glass eyes and I assume is covered with mohair with hard felt pads to his limbs and I think were produced by a number of large makers to celebrate the arrival of Ming the first Pand Bear at London Zoo in 1938 but I am no expert so it could well be earlier. It is as the photos show in loft fresh condition and would benefit from a really good clean but is basically in good honest condition.Please feel free to email me any questions and I will do my best to answer them.
