is one of a large collection of Geologic Atlas Folios that I will be offering. These were part of the " Department of Interior United States Geological Survey ~` GEOLOGIC ATLAS of the UNITED STATES ~~ Snoqualmie Folio ~~ Washington ". This one is Folio Number 139. Charles D. Walcott was the Survey Director when this was issued in 1906. It measures approximately 18" by 21". The folio contains the Index Map , Descriptive Text , Topographic Map , Areal Geology Map , Columnar Sections , Structure Sections. It is the heavy weight paper and sturdy library spine binding taped edition with library markings and edge tape. " Published in Washington D. C. ~~ Engraved and Printed by the U. S. Geological Survey ~~ George W. Stose , Editor of Geologic Maps ~~ S. J. Kubel Chief Engraver ~~ 1902 ". It has some edge wear and a few small tears, but overall is in very good condition. It has 16 pages of text with detailed overview of the region. T are three full page full color engraved maps listed listed above. T are also the Columnar graph and Structure Sheets. Extremely rare and seldom seen. Perfect for the historian , engineer, mining buff or map collector. Wonderful as a historical document or very frameable for the den or office.
