Written by Jackson C. Thode, this plastic sleeved, hard bound book is a collection of Rio Grande history and operations from 1892 to 1934. It contains maps, paintings, letters and wonderful photo's of this amazing Railroad. It contains scenes from early buildings and rolling stock...a modeler's dream. I really liked the photo's of early Denver and Salida. There are interesting shots of unique railroad equipment...just right to add to a model railroad. Most of the photo's were taken in 8 x 10 format...a lotta work. Photos' 2 & 3 are of early Salida. Photo #4 is early Denver. It is my policy to refund excess postage.
