GEORGE HORNE ORIGINAL OIL PAINTING ON BOARD DARTMOUTH CASTLE DEVON For Sale. A lovely original painting by Devon artist George Horne. The oil on board is signed to the bottom right corner. It is titled to the reverse and has a fact sheet about the artist below the title. The frame measures about 13 inches x 11 inches, the painting measures about 9.5 inches x 7.5 inches. Condition of both frame and painting are as new ** George Horne was born in Worcestershire and grew up and was educated in Vancouver, Canada. He completed his schooling back in England and attended the Birmingham College of Art. He spent most of his working life in Devon, where he combined his love of art with runing a b&b. He has also found time to work and exhibit in the United States and Mexico. He has specialised in English landscapes and marine paintings and his work can be found in many galleries and private collections THIS IS ONE OF THREE PAINTINGS I AM CURRENTLY LISTING BY THIS ARTIST AND WOULD BE WILLING TO PART WITH THEM ALL TO A SERIOUS COLLECTOR
