George Jones Majolica Pitcher Frogs Flowers Trunk Description : For your consideration is this wonderful Majolica Pitcher with frogs and flowers on a stump decoration. I am not positive this is a George Jones piece but it has all the characteristics of being a George Jones piece. The bottom is mottled with green and Brown and there is a place with no glaze and a number which is written in lead. Approx height 7 1/2 inches. Approx diameter of the rim 5 1/2 inches. Approx weight 3 pounds 11 ounces. I have checked this piece with a UV light and i have not found any signs of repairs but i am no expert on repairs. There is a small spot at the base which can be seen from the front view photo. I have not tried to clean this spot which looks like a small stain. I will of course take this item back including shipping both ways if the new owners finds something wrong with it that I did not disclose. Thanks for looking!!
