RARE! George Michael/Elton John - Two Rooms LongBox CD

RARE! 1991 USA. Elton John: Two Rooms - Celebrating the Songs of Elton John & Bernie Taupin. Long deleted CD in original Longbox - with original shrink-wrap. This item has been carefully opened at the bottom and still contains the original CD in MINT condition, as well as the external shrink wrap with original sticker affixed. US version (POLYDOR 845 750-2) Includes the only official release of George Michael singing "Tonight" (recorded live on George's Cover to Cover Tour), which was written by Elton & Taupin.

The longbox was the original packaging solution for CDs, from the time they were released until about 1993. Inside the over sized, thin cardboard box was the regular jewel case that we are all familiar with. The long box artwork tended to be a blend of the 12" and the CD covers, due to their unique size. Today most CD long boxes have become highly collectible! Over the last 18 years, I have only seen a couple of these surface. It is in EXCELLENT CONDITION. Chances are you will not see another one of these!
