A MOST RARE AND WONDERFUL EITHER WOOD CUT LITHOGRAPH OR STEEL ENGRAVED LITHO---SIGNED BY GENERAL GEORGE S. PATTON-- GIVEN TO DAUGHTER OF mR. BORCHERT-LONG TIME FRIEND OF GENERAL PATTON- In the 1970's and 1980's my family and myself bought estates and the entire contents of homes and apartments along with the property --then we renovated them and rented them out--as time went on we did sell all our holdings--in the process we did acquire many artifacts--one of them was the one offered -- We discovered in the attic of a home that was historic built by A C Steer a famous builder in Shreveport Louisiana several artifact attributed to General George S Patton-MY Mother gave this signed lithograph to a friend and now she is wishing to sell this-one requirement of this sale is that this artifact get a good home and the seller wishes to know how this will be card for and displayed--- GENERAL PATTON I HAVE LEARNED THRU MUCH RESEARCH OVER THE YEARS was a fine man and what happened to him that caused his death was done on purpose-----new facts have brought this out---may God rest his soul for he did fight many battles in many lives-especially in his mind and the fact that this lithograph deals with myth is right up the general's alley for he believed he was in many battles leading troops in the past---HARPIES ARE THINGS THAT HAVE TO BE FOUGHT AND THE GENERAL MAY HAVE SEEN HIMSELF AS A WARRIOR IN THIS LITHO-- I SPOKE WITH MARY BORCHERT AND ASK HER TO WRITE HOW SHE ACQUIRED THIS MOST INTERESTING ARTIFACT-SHE WROTE IT DOWN - iT WAS ACQUIRED BY MARY WRITING THE GENERAL AND ASKING HIM TO SIGN THIS AND SENDING IT BACK TO HER-SIGNED ON CHRISTMAS 1941--note this is not a stamp see the pen grab hole at the end of the signature---this is guaranteed to be an nk signature not a stamp guaranteed. to a good home only happy Halloween see the first fire of the season at our home Falcon Wolf on Cross Lake---a history will be included by past owner and present signed--- pray for world peace------
