George Smyth --- Well known Studio Potter --- Smyth operated the Redbrush Studio in Lathrop, Missouri during the 1980s & 1990s. His pots were hand-thrown from fine porcelain and featured crystalline glazes and carved details in the style of Adelaide Robineau. The pieces being offered at no-reserved auction are from a single owner collection and were purchased directly from the artist in the early 1990s. Among the items being offered are some of the best examples of his workmanship 4 1/2" Square Tile Features a carved Scarab Design Signed on the bottom, "Smyth 1994" --- Unusual Colors and Treatment --- Excellent Condition with no damage
