I have owned this clock for about a year and a half. During this time I kept it wound for about half the time and it ran and chimed properly. It has a five rod chime block and has a beautiful sound. It does play the 4X4 Westminster melody. The movement was serviced at the time that I purchased the clock. Please note that this clock has a balance assemble instead of a pendulum, which means you can move it to dust without fear of the clock stopping and it does not have to be perfectly level to run. The writing on the face of the clock reads (Les 3 Cloches and Veritable Westminster). Please note that the finish on the clock is in very good condition and origional.
