You are bidding on a excellent representation of a Classic Kirk Serrated Projectile Point. This point dates back to 5500 B.C. during the Archaic Period in Georgia. This point has a wonderful stem. I believe the material is chert or baybottom coral but not 100% sure. This point is 2 3/4 inches long and has the classic bulbs of percussion and plano-convex cross sections. It also has a nice bevels which run the length of the point. As you will note in the pictures it has some quality serrations. The point is as is with a nick on the tip that is new damage. The staining is from mother nature.
