A super georgian solid silver card case dating to Birmingham 1829 with makers T & P standing for Joseph Taylor and John Perry they worked between 1827 to 1848 at Birmingham. The card case has clear marks on the base, these are the only ones, see photo. It shuts tightly and is in good order for the age. The central cartouche has initials IDT, this is in old scroll so not so sure, surrounding this is a lovely scroll detail. On the bottom right hand corner there is the tiniest ding, if I had not pointed it out it would not be noticed. The card case measures 3 1/2 inches by 2 1/3 inches. A lovely piece for any collector. Weight is 58.3 grms.
