This is what i believe to be a Georgian three ring decanter. The stopper is a good fit with no wobble and you can pick the the whole bottle up by the stopper once secured in the neck. The base of the bottle looks the same color as the stopper but as you go upwards to the neck the colour changes very slightly to were the rings start. There is dirt behind the rings which look applied after the bottle was formed. I really can not work out how this made as there is no pontil polished or broken and no visible mould lines, my guess is that it was mould blown. Please take into consideration this item is used, 200 year old glass with scratch marks to the outer surface of the bottle so bear in mind when purchasing. 11 inches in total height and 4 inches across the base.
