A super little find and amazing to have survived so many centuries. A small red Tole snuff box with the most charming hand painted scene. Dating from the late Georgian period. It has the two hands of friendship painted to the front and a very simple single painted band running around the remaining box. The curved shape is very tactile with no harsh corners. It measures 2" by 1.5" by 0.5". Condition is not pristine but then again after 200 plus years of use, I would not expect it to be. Their is some paint loss around the front lip of the lid. general blistering, paint loss in random patches over the entirety. Not too drastic and luckily the hand painting has survived intact.
