This is a lovely set of early seed pearl and gold gilt jewelry. The set includes a bar pin brooch with natural seed pearls and pinkish red foiled back paste accent stones as the centerpiece. The tiny seed pearls are threaded onto the gilt back with wire. The medallion of the earrings measure about 3/4 of an inch in diameter. The length of the earrings including to the top of the earring wire is just about one inch. The bar pin brooch measures a little over 2 1/2 inches in length. The pink silk box, which appears to be original to the set, has seen better days is tattered and shredding but I felt it was important to keep with the set. The mechanism on the box is even engraved with a design. I believe the set to be Italian in origin as that is where I purchased it. There are no marks on the pieces. Email me with any questions.
