Georgian / Victorian engraved drinking ale glass with air bubble in stem. I'm not sure how to date glass so please contact me if you require further information on dating this glass. Measure approx 4.3/8" in height, 2" in diameter at rim and 2.1/4" foot, in excellent condition , no chips and cracks . showing contact wear to foot. THIS LOVELY LITTLE WINE GLASS HAS A FUNNEL / CONICAL SHAPED BOWL AND IS RAISED ON A PLAIN STEM WHICH HAS A CONICAL FOOT AND A ROUGHSNAPPED PONTIL UNDERNEATH. IT IS DELICATELY ETCHED WITH LEAVES, FLOWER AND A BIRD. THERE IS NO DAMAGE TO THE GLASS NOR TO THE FOOT OR RIM ALTHOUGH YOU CAN FEEL 3 VERY SMALL IMPERFECTIONS (FLEA BITES) TO THE INSIDE OF THE RIM.
