HAR DE HAR HAR Yuk. Yuk. Sometimes --albeit not too often--the TIMELY artists seemed to lose their creative focus. The result of that oversight was a cover like the one on GEORGIE #8 The clever sight gags of so many of the teen releasese of the Teen Humor champ publisher, TIMELY gave way to this obvious goofball gutshot. Which is kind of ironic since GEORGIE was the most subdued teen comic of the extensive MARVEL/TIMELY lineup. Nevertheless #8 has its wacky moments. Like GEORGIE who is about 17 getting spanked by his dad. GEORGIE #8 also includes an early PATSY WALKER which is well done as are all the GEORGIE stories. A highly desirable early teener--especially in this nice grade. CONDITION: Cheap paper common to the early TIMELYS. But that's a production flaw. Firm. Tight. White pages. VF-. CONEHEAD
