This auction is for AN EXTREMELY UNIQUE ANTIQUE CRYSTAL & STERLING SILVER LOCKING DOUBLE DECANTER. This is a must see!!!! Each of the matching crystal decanters is 9 1/2" in height. The base is 3" in diameter with a classic diamond design. Each decanter holds approx 24 ounces. The crystal stopper is hexagon is shape. It is quite heavy each decanter weighs 2# 1.3 oz. These decanters sit on a STERLING SILVER holder. Each base is 4 1/2" in diameter giving the item a 9" length and 4 1/2" width. The moveable arm of the holder is 10" in height. To remove the decanters from the holder t is a completely workable heart shaped lock with (2) skeleton keys on its original chain. You simply unlock the the lock. T is a sterling silver hinge that comes down and the arm of the holder then raises just enough to remove the decanters. The top of the holder has matching hexagon shapes that fit over the crystal stoppers to hold in place when the piece is locked. It is georgous and quite unique. The piece is in excellent condition!!! T are no cracks, scratches, or marks of any kind on either decanter and the silver is also in excellent condition with no dents, dings, scratches, etc. I did not clean this item as it photographs better without the glare, but will before shipment. The bottom of the base of the holder is marked on one circle "STERLING" and on the other "S1268" The lock is marked on one side "Eagle Lock Co." and on the back "Terryville, Conn.
