Gerber Fighting Knife Vintage Gerber Command II Combat Fighting knife. Very early serial number: 0031xx. 6 3/4" long blade, overall length is about 11 3/4". Blade is sharp on bottom and also back 3" on top, which is also serrated. Black finish handle. In non-original brown leather sheath that fits well. Early knife with Mark II style handle, not later flat handle and also has early style sword in stone logo. Also, serial. number is etched, not stamped. This model was made for only a short time in the 1980's, and is a very high quality and rare fighting/survival knife. Very similar to the Gerber Mark II. Knife is in very good condition. Appears knife has been handled and carried, but not really actually used. Very sharp. Very collectable and desirable piece.
