You are bidding on a Gerber Custom Series Model C425 sheath knife Specifications are: Blade Length: 4.5" Overall Length: 9" Blade material: see below Handle material: see below Sheath material: leather Comments: The following in bold is from the Gerber paper work that came with the knives back when they came out:Custom designed to meet the rugged demands of today's outdoorsman, these superb cutting tools blend ultramodern, functional design, and skilled Gerber craftsmanship and manufacturing techniques. Extra-strong blades are precision ground to a razor sharp, double-wedge shape and boast a super-hardness of Rockwell C60-62. Special industrial hard-chrome plating keeps these high speed tool steel blades bright and stainless through the demanding use for which this series was designed. Note: Paperwork not included T were six blade designs to choose from. According to Levine's Guide to Knives and Their Values 4th Edition Al Mar designed these while he was at Gerber and the ebony handles were made 1976 to 1978. Used Good+ condition with some light surface scratches which would probably polish out if you had the time and skill. Sheath has a few scuffs, but these knives were meant to be carried and used. This one still has a lifetime's worth of service in it. NO RESERVE !!!!!!!! NO RESERVE !!!!!!!!!Please take the time to check out my other items.
