This auction is for a used Gerber Tactical 10.59" Fixed Blade Knife, model LMF II. Fine shape comes in original sheath. Description: In stock and shipping now The Gerber LMFâ,,¢ II was designed in conjunction with military and military instructors to be used in any survival situation. The blade is 3/16" thick, 12C 27 Stainless Steel with a no glare, blackened finish and Rockwell Hardness of 58. The handle has been designed for overall comfort, to eliminate blisters but provide a good grip. Relieved oval and holes in handle to allow for use as a spear. The butt cap, which can be used as a hammer or as a window punch; even through helicopter Plexiglas, is separated from the tang of the blade to reduce shock and provide electrical insulation. The LMFâ,,¢II sheath has a low profile to minimize interference with movement. Made of a soft, rigid composite to reduce noise.
