GERBER PHOTO-JOURNAL GUIDE TO COMICS LEATHER BOUND 2 Volume Set Special Limited Edition only 900 made!!

This is a very rare limited edition of the Gerber Photo-Journal Guide to comic books. It contains 21,000 colour illustrations of comic covers. In 1989 Ernst Gerber estimated the value of the comics represented at 20 million dollars. It contains a relative value index for 50,000 comics and a complete cataloguing system for comic books between 1935 and 1965. T is also a scarcity index for collector's comics. Gerber refers to his books as a "welcome to the lost world of silver and golden age comics".

As you must know if you are considering bidding, these books are a must for any collector.

This leather bound limited edition , in a leather slip case had been sold on ebay for more than nine hundred dollars . The books are in excellent MINT condition. I can find no fault. The corners are square. The leather is clean and unmarred. After they were purchased, the plastic was taken off the slipcase and the owner glanced at them, briefly. The next time they were opened was for the photos that are attached.

Postage is $18.00 to any address in the United States or Canada. If insurance is desired it will be the cost requested by the post office, no additional "handling" fee will be added.
