This top of the line Gerber Spectre is in very good condition. Design, fit, finish and first rate materials make this an exceptional knife. It still has the original razor sharp factory edge and has never cut anything! It does have some handling marks. The 3 3/8'' blade is superior 154cm steel. The blade is super smooth opening and closing with solid lock-up. The blade does have the tension adjustable screw should you ever need to adjust it. Handles are checkered G-10 and 4 3/8'' long.. Spring steel liners and liner lock. Polished stainless steel pocket clip. This knife is built like a tank and is just the right size to carry and use. The grip shape is extremely comfortable and easy to hold onto. This knife is no longer in production. Due to it's high cost of manufacture, fitting and finish it was replaced by the Ranger series of Gerber knives. The Rangers are great knives but not near as good as this Specture. The Gerber retail price on these in 2003 was $159.95! That is not over priced for a great knife like this. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have about it.
