Click to get eBay auction software at Rare original German WW2 soldier's safety razor blade sharpener "Sieger" /"Victorious"/, made by the German company Gebruder Scmidt. Most officer s and soldier had one in their personal kit, these sharpeners were very useful in the frontline conditions, w the supply of any goods was often difficult. Made of typical fine German spotted brown Bakelite, with manufacturer logo on the lid. Excellent, no chips, no cracks, not even scratches on the Bakelite surface! When a blade is placed inside, the rope must be pulled, the blade is moved by the mechanism between the abrasive green parts and is sharpened. Preserved in very good working condition!
