Medieval Saxon Bastard Sword This Medieval Double Ring Guard, Museum Replicas War Sword is an excellent addition to any sword collection. Fully functional and forged by Windlass Steelcraft, this hand and a half’s blade measures 1 3/8” wide by 36” in length, with an overall length of 46”, the blade is in new condition. The sword weighs 3lbs. 6 oz. and has double rings on both sides of the hilt, a wire wrapped grip with heavy pommel. The entire sword is in excellent condition and includes a leather scabbard with metal end caps. This sword is not only visually superb and extremely well made but is an authentic replica of an actual relic. This sword is no longer offered from Museum Replicas catalog and is desirable. This sword was originally owned and on display at the RavensHall Museum.
