Up for bids is a gorgeous soup tureen with underplate. It is decorated with lobsters on both sides and on the lid. Clams and mussels surround the central design. It measures approximately 9 inches tall to the top of the finial, 12 inches wide from outside handle to outside handle and top is 8 inches in diameter. T is a slot for a ladle. It is marked " J W Bavaria Western Germany". The underplate measures 9 3/4 inches in diameter and is marked "Kuba Porzellan Bavaria Germany". It is trimmed in gold. All are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, just an occasional firing imperfection. I have assembled this set over the years and have run out of storage space. These pieces are perfect for serving a special seafood dinner and look beautiful when displayed! Please check my last photo for the whole grouping. Tureen and underplate weigh a little over 5 pounds before packing. Shipping calculator will reflect a weight of 7-8 pounds for very careful packing and safe arrival.
