Classic German boot /combat knife with naval motif etching on the blade. Unused condition. 1930's art-deco style handle done in two colors of swirled pattern celluloid. Very attractive pearl gray outer laminate with nearly black center section in same pattern. German silver guard and ferrule. Blade is marked near guard "Solingen/Rostfrei". No "Germany" markings so this piece wasn't meant for export. Blade etching is the same pattern as found on the Kriegsmarine dress dagger blade. I am in no way inferring that this is a Kriegsmarine official item, but it was obviously aimed at the maritime market. Scabbard is in excellent condition as well with german silver throat and tip. Blade length is 6 inches, knife is 10 ¾ inches overall. Overall condition is just as nice as you could hope for - no condition issues whatsoever . Please note that t are no offensive political markings anyw on this piece and never were. Item meets all Ebay guidelines in that respect. Do not bid on this item if you cannot legally possess it in you place of residence. PLEASE read my terms, thank you for your interest.
