Truly this is a fantastic, outstanding HUGE lace figural of Meissen-quality porcelain! The figures are large and exquisite, the costumes are richly detailed, the lace is full and gorgeous. Note the beautiful faces on the figures, the royal colors, heavy gold gilt and handpainted artwork on their elaborate clothing, the detail of the instruments, beautiful rug and extraordinary platform base... and t is much more to see on this superb porcelain piece! The condition is excellent other a few minor losses. The only chipped porcelain on the whole figural are two fingers on the dancing man's right hand, and possible nics to flower petals and leaves. Regarding the lace, t is some lace damage but considering the size and the volume of lace present on this figurine, it is very age appropriate and nothing that is large or detracting. Biggest area to note is the left side of seated woman's dress (and a small amount in front); the dancing woman has scattered areas of small loss on her dress (back and right side), and the dancing man has a piece off of his ascot. Additionally, the bow and strings are missing from the cello. T are no cracks or firing flaws (the picture of the underside looks like t is a flaw, but t is no damage on the base at all). Measures 16.25" long and 10.75" tall. A very impressive display, a magnificent figurine! Please read more
