The story presented to me concerning this dagger is that a named US Soldier brought this back from the War. The handle according to story had been shot off thus the reason for the Aluminum handIe. I believe with some heat it could be easily removed. I say this as I understand t are parts daggers out t and really I have no clue. I am not representing this as neither an original nor a replica. The blade is marked Meine Ehre heist Treue. Length of blade is 8 3/4. The blade has been sharpened however the edges and point are whole. Marked Boker Soligen Sheath looks to be original to the Dagger.
