This is a single decal luftwaffe helmet.The decal has been overpainted either from the factory or the battlefield. The paint is rough in texture, and is dull matte blue-gray.the liner has squared rings indicating usually an m/35 style helmet. This one is an m/40,(no bushing).The liner is unit marked to an anti aircraft unit. Liner size is 56.The liner is marked B&C Berlin 1938. The chinstrap is complete minus the buckle end, but is broken.The chinstrap is marked, D.REICHEN I ENGEFELD/. The helmet maker and size is Q64,serial number is T72?,hard to make out due to the overpaint. T is a name on the left side of the liner,it is KROPP. From research that I have done,"III Abt. Flak Rgt.5" was in existence until Winter 1943.At that time it was renamed "Flak Schw. 508" a searchlight unit based in Munich,Germany. Thanks
