German Imperial Sword- This sword is in very good condition for its age. The blade is in excellent condition with no rust or wear and it has leaf scrolling part of the way down. Proof mark on one side of the blade has a balance scale with the letters A S C. On the other side of the blade is the numbers 1471. The Eagle II folds down nicely and t is a crown emblem on the handle. The scabbard has some wear and scratches and some rust on the bottom. The overall length is 39". I am told this sword dates back between 1920 and 1940. This sword is very hard to come by in this condition. If you are a collector, don't let this one get away. |
